Happy Brunch: save a seat for Santa

Written by Photosì | Nov 6, 2020 5:50:54 PM

Greedy sighs and a lot of excitement for the little chefs, busy in front of the stove, absorbed in preparing a super yummy snack for an audience of special guests.

Impeccable hosts, they knead, butter, bake. That smells so good!

Ginger, hot milk, cinnamon and lots of love: these are the ingredients for an unforgettable Christmas.

HO HO HO, while waiting for Santa Claus and his reindeers, our little friends enjoy dispensing advice on how to prepare the perfect snack.

So quick and easy! Just follow the recipe and you can make it too.

One more tip: decorate your table with colourful paper charms to light up the atmosphere of your magic brunch.

Write down the ingredients for your cookies:

1 egg

10 g milk

180 g butter

200 g sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

380 g flour

and finally, a pinch of salt

And now write the method:

Cream together the butter, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Then add in the egg and milk. When they are well combined, add the flour. When the dough is well blended, wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes. After the time has elapsed, lightly dust the pastry board with flour and roll out the dough to a thickness of about 4 mm. Then cut the biscuits using the molds of the shape you prefer. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15/20 minutes. Cooking times depend a lot on the type of oven, just watch that the edges don’t brown too much. Finally, let them cool on a wire rack.

And if the recipe is not enough, here’s the exclusive video recipe of our friend @penninonsolodolci, the most magical of food bloggers.

See? These tasty cookies can also be transformed into an original gift idea. A few simple elements are enough: a little bag, an elegant ribbon and a photo to personalise them and give a little sweetness to your loved ones!
